Architects Hames Sharley created a unique design for this project which highlights the client’s corporate image with emphasis on management and staff needs in both the warehouse and office environment. The project includes 800 square metres of warehouse space containing an electrical workshop and a kitchen with the balance used for storage and maintenance of the product line. The office area consists of reception, boardroom, meeting rooms and manger’s office as well as a general open plan office area and male and female amenities. An office mezzanine was also incorporated above the general office area.
Building elements include traditional structural steel framing, metal roofing and concrete wall panels to boundary elevations with feature wall panels and aluminium glazed windows and doors to front elevations. A translucent wall facade system was incorporated at a high level to allow natural light to pass into the warehouse.
