Byte Construct is proud to have been involved with Australian Leisure & Hospitality in the construction of the New Hyde Park Hotel and Dan Murphy Superstore retail liquor outlet. Although construction was delayed by Building License issues, the Client was eager for Dan Murphy’s to trade for the Christmas period.
Byte Construct commenced demolition of the existing Hyde Park Hotel Function Centre as scheduled and applied for a forward works license to continue with ground works, footings, ground slabs and construction of the concrete wall panels. This minimised the delay but carried the revised program into the New Year. Northerly worked closely with Dan Murphy’s to reduce the construction time to facilitate opening of the outlet prior to the Christmas trade.
The New Hyde Park Hotel has undergone major alterations, refurbishment, façade restoration and fit-out and now includes modern new bars, eating and amenity facilities. In addition, the internal bar area is linked to an outdoor alfresco area. Importantly the venue has retained the stage for “live music” sessions. Local artist Zack Freshwater provided the aerosol ink work murals behind the bar areas.
